I once spent a memorable weekend in Galveston. My husband and I won an all expense paid trip there for having the best Halloween costumes at the company party! Absolutely agree with Hildy. The first time I spent a weekend in Galveston was when I met my future in-laws for the first time. Even though it was nerve wracking for that reason, I have never forgotten my first impression of Galveston: Beautiful!
